With your insurance license, you made a promise. You made a promise to the state licensing board and to yourself that you would get the required number of continuing education credits before your license came up for renewal so that you could remain licensed and continue to grow and learn in the insurance industry. Unfortunately, it’s now three weeks until your deadline and you need 20 hours of CE credits to keep your license valid. What are you going to do? With a full time job and a life it can be hard to fit this stuff in. However, there is a very easy way to get your CE credits taken care of.
Start sooner. It’s that simple. Don’t wait until the last minute. Take your insurance CE courses as soon as you can, and you’ll be able to relax at renewal time because you’ve been done for months. Never wait until the last minute because too many things can go wrong and leave you no time to fix them before your license expires. Many people think that they don’t have time to take these courses because of the traveling and actual class time. However, the online insurance CE world is quickly growing, and can offer you everything that you want and need when it comes to continuing education within the insurance industry.
Not all states allow online training to be used for insurance continuing education, so you will need to check with your licensing board to determine which types of courses are permitted and specifically what courses you need to take in order to keep your license current. If you do this as soon as you get your license or your renewal, you will be much better able to get your CE credits taken care of with plenty of time to spare.
